Biography

A once popular material in construction, it fell from favour due to health complications caused by asbestos fibres, and was subsequently banned from use before the turn of the millennium. Whilst left to its own devices and if it is in a good condition, it is relatively harmless, asbestos fibres can pose a danger when the material deteriorates.
