Bryan Contractors (Blairgowrie) Ltd is a family run business with over 50 year’s experience in agricultural, commercial and domestic operated plant hire. We offer our services in Blairgowrie, Perthshire, Dundee and also cover all of Scotland.
We continually invest in our wide range of machinery to continue to excel in meeting our customer’s needs and can provide excavators ranging from Micro to 22Tonne, dozer with GPS , articulated dumpers, tractors & dumpers and a range of compaction equipment.
Our highly skilled team are professional, friendly and focused on delivering the highest standard of work which has created the first-rate reputation that has built many long lasting relationships with our customers.
Our Services
Plant Hire:
- 2-8t tracked excavators, available with steel wrist, hydraulic thumbs, rock breakers, compaction plates.

We can also hire crushers/ screeners for any recycling projects.
Road Construction
We construct new forestry roads, upgrade existing forestry roads. Form hill roads for 4×4 access and footpath construction, all to very high reinstatement standard for environmental purposes. We also carry out repair’s to existing private estate and farm roads.
Drainage
Existing drainage systems repaired, new drainage schemes installed. New sewerage/surface water drainage systems installed. Septic tanks, supplied and installed including soakaways. Ditch cleaning/new ditches formed. Riverbank maintenance including rock armour installation, flood bank construction and maintenance.
Demolition
Demolition works carried out on all farm buildings, steel frame buildings and rural dwellings. Our machines fitted with hydraulic thumbs are ideal for separating materials and we can also supply rotating shears to our machines to increase productivity and operator safety. Crushing service’s can be arranged to facilitate recycling.
Groundworks
We have the plant & experience to undertake all aspects of groundworks from small to large site clearance projects, installation of foundations and drainage works for commercial, agricultural and private customers. Attenuation systems installed, installation of services and ducting. Concrete works undertaken from external yards to structures which require shuttered.
Renewables
We have worked on the installation of private hydro schemes since 2013 with Highland Eco Design. We have just completed our 10th hydro in 2020 in Lochailort where we carried out all the groundworks and concrete works. We have also completed the installation of new road’s and crane pad’s for wind turbine projects.
