A lot older now that when I first started the business in November 1985 as a Mobile Mechanic.
With a lot of help from my Family, Staff, Friends, and Suppliers and some heartache along the way we have grown to what we are today, in fact it was my wife Sally that came up with the name which she says expresses what I do “fix things’.
We have worked hard to achieve a well-respected vehicle repair business in the town and with a lot of Training and Investment, we are now a true alternative to the dealer network, also we have managed to become the go to garage in the area, as we now carry out work for other garages, as well as our customers, because they have lapsed behind with knowledge, technology, and equipment which is expensive to maintain and it’s only going to get worse, with even the dealers struggling to keep up.
My philosophy is to treat people as we would like to be, and over the years we have demonstrated this. (hopefully).
This also means we DO NOT fit sub-standard parts or bodge cars as we would not do this to ours, and as such can tend to make it seem that we can be a little more expensive as all parts are either Dealer, or Dealer Equivalent, and not Chinese copies, and yes there are a lot out there check eBay. But we are still up to 33% cheaper than the dealer.
When problems arise, and they will unfortunately, we stay in touch and explain the problems.
Due to the technologies in today’s vehicles we cannot guarantee to get it right first time every time particularly with intermittent problems and as such may need more than one visit, but we try to help this by offering courtesy cars, or collection and delivery.
Due to the above training and investment we are the most technologically advanced and up to date independent garage in Tonbridge and there is nothing that we cannot fix.
Our technicians are consistently training and have trained with some of the highest regarded names in the industry. (Bosch, Delphi, Frank Massey, Peter Combes, and James Dillon, John Batten).
Two of us having achieved Diagnostic Tech Level, and working towards MASTER TECH, and one of them an Award Winning tech. All our Technicians take a REAL pride in their work, so you can be sure your vehicle is being well looked after.
Our latest Qualification is in HYBRID and Electric cars and in fact one of our techs is in fact a recognised trainer in this field and owns an electric and Hybrid himself.
